AOC Côtes du Rhône wines, on track at the 29th Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival

In 2026, and for the third year in a row, AOC Côtes du Rhône wines will join the wonderful team of partners of the Alpe d’Huez Festival! Warmth, culture, quality, creativity, accessibility… so many shared values that unite the Festival and the wine appellation.

Partners of the Avignon Festival, the Lyon Street Food Festival and Jazz à Vienne, the winegrowers and merchants of the Côtes du Rhône appellation are committed to meeting consumers where they live, relax, and enjoy culture.

On this occasion, come and (re)discover AOC Côtes du Rhône and AOC Côtes du Rhône Villagess wines at the Côtes du Rhône Wine Bar in the partners’ chalets, or during a Côtes du Rhône & Villages tasting workshop.

The Côtes du Rhône & Côtes du Rhône Villages Wine Bar will open its doors to the public from Tuesday, January 20 to Saturday, January 24, 2026, before each official screening (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at midday, and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the evening) on the esplanade of the Palais des Sports in Huez.

Each day, our consulting sommelier, Nicolas Ong, will introduce the public to a new selection of Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages wines, in a warm and festive atmosphere.

Because cinema is also meant to be savored while you wait, two brand-new hot cocktails made with Côtes du Rhône white and red wines will be offered for the first time, exclusively at the Wine Bar.

A perfect way to pass the time pleasantly—warmed by original, festive creations—before the screenings begin.

Dive into the art of blending with a tasting workshop dedicated to the iconic white and red grape varieties of the Côtes du Rhône.

As a team, take on the challenge of creating your ideal blend.

A unique opportunity to learn how to harmonize grape varieties with finesse and to explore the impact each one has on the aromas, texture, and overall balance of your creation.

► From Tuesday, January 20 to Saturday, January 24, 2026 — 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 to 7:00 p.m.
Blending workshop focused on Côtes du Rhône red grape varieties

At the end of each session, a jury of professionals (sommelier, experts, etc.) will meet to select the best blend of the day.

👑 At the end of the festival, the team that created the best blend will be invited to the vineyard to extend the experience.
🎁 To be won: a wine-tourism getaway for two in the Côtes du Rhône, including an overnight stay, dinner, and a wine-tourism activity in a “Rendez-vous Terroirs” certified estate.
